Jonathan David Williford is a husband and a father. He is also an entrepreneur and a small business owner who has been involved in Summer Camps and Outdoor Education since childhood.
In his youth, David worked at summer camps like Sky Ranch, Camp Compass, Camp Thurman and Sabine Creek Ranch.
He is a graduate of Houston Baptist University with a double major in Mass Communications and Speech Communications. As a former Marine, his passion is for leadership development and discipleship.

Courtney Evans is a wife and momma to 2 girls, an organized enthusiast who loves to be around people.
Courtney possesses an undergraduate degree in Early Child Education and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She and her husband help run the Coffee Shop at church, and lead a small group. She loves to cycle, travel with her family, and have dinner on a patio.

Emily is a mom to one little Anothen Preschool boy named Elijah. She has several years of experience in camp ministry from River Bend Retreat Center in Glen Rose, TX. Emily has a Master’s of Human Services from Liberty University and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Hardin Simmons.
In her spare time, she loves to travel, be with her family, and go enjoy a play at her favorite local theaters!

MR. ROSE
Jim Rose is known in the camping community for having built Camp Thurman in Arlington, Texas.
Jim was the Executive Director of Camp Thurman for more than 37 years. His legacy can be seen in the lives of the men and women who run Camp Thurman today and in countless children and adults over the last 40 years.
Jim is a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and possesses undergraduate & graduate degrees in Education. Jim has been married 40 years and has 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren. His adventure continues now at Camp Anothen in Mansfield, Texas.
JIM ROSE - DISCIPLESHIP DIRECTOR

Dylan Thompson is a husband to his wife Abby and enjoys being a newlywed! Dylan has worked as a counselor at Camp Anothen and Camp Thurman in the past. He is excited to return as a full-time staff. Dylan has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Leadership from Austin College. While pursuing his degree he also played football.
In his spare time, he loves the outdoors, playing any sport with his family. Dylan enjoys going on little adventures to different coffee shops and fun shops with his wife. They attend Fielder Church and plan on serving with the youth. His favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 41:10 because we shall never fear with God on our side
