WHAT IS A
VOLUNTEER WORK DAY?
Working at camp is a challenging job that promises to stretch and grow you. It is not for everyone, which is why we hope you start by first attending our Camp Work Days. These are held on the third Saturday of every month.

SERVE
At Camp Anothen, we serve daily. There are several off-season opportunities to continue to serve as a counselor, leader or maintenance assistant. When we serve in Christ, we are creating a space for community and growth in our spiritual walk and daily life.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10

CONNECT
We are called to build community and maintain fellowship with one another in Christ. We offer off season events designed to build life-long friendships and continue to connect outside of the summertime. When you begin to serve, you open the door for new relationships and opportunities to share and grow with one another.
“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20

GROW
When we begin to serve and connect with others in fellowship, we begin to grow as individuals. We offer different leadership and team building events during the school year to help foster that growth and leadership. When you begin to grow in Christ, you open yourself to new ways of thinking, leading and developing spiritually.
