We spend most of the day playing outside in the woods and in the fields of camp. Please make sure you apply sunscreen to your camper before you drop them off and send it in your camper’s camp bag. Your counselor will monitor your camper and will reapply sunscreen unless otherwise directed by you.

First and foremost we have American Red Cross trained and certified lifeguards on duty at all times.
Secondly, all Discovery Camp campers are only able to swim in our pool. They must wear a life jacket at all times. Day campers are required to wear life vests in all natural bodies of water. In our pool, they have the option to take a swim test proctored by a lifeguard. If they pass the test, they can swim in the pool without a lifejacket.
-
Our pool is 5 feet deep, this allows our staff to stand flat footed in all areas of the pool.
Our pond is ankle deep at the beach front and anywhere from 15-18 feet deep in other areas.
*ALL campers and staff MUST wear a life vest while in and around the pond.
-
Yes! The Lost and Found is located at our Snack Shack, which all campers go to once a day. Parents can also visit the Lost and Found on the last day of camp.
